To disseminate knowledge and share practical experience on close to nature forestry and its potential to increase forest resilience and diversity, Pro Silva organizes field trips and seminars for foresters, forest planners and other professionals as well as forest owners.
The association may also provide consultancy services based on individual agreement – either between its members, or to third parties (forest owners and managers).
Besides the events for professionals, Pro Silva organises, few times a year, excursions and guided forest visits for public in order to increase public awareness on close to nature forestry and its role in sustainable use of natural resources. To share knowledge and experience, between experts from different European countries as well as validate our approaches, the associations organizes (usually once a year) excursions to parner associations abroad. Pro Silva Slovakia considers such international exchange, as an important tool to validate own experience and approaches applied in our forests.
